Bailor Plow Mfg. Co.

Bailor’s first two-row cultivator had two rear driving wheels and a single front steering wheel. Later models had two front wheels for greater flotation. Most motor cultivators were difficult to operate since it was necessary to guide the machine with both hands while operating the two independent plow beams with the feet. The two uncoordinated operations made the machine difficult and tiring to handle.

history

Bailor Plow Company was one of the old-line plow builders that opted for a share of the tractor trade. In 1919, they introduced the Bailor two-row motor cultivator. Bailor added a small one-row cultivator in 1921, and it remained in the line until production ended in the early 1930s.
